AOR D-Mannose (30tabs)

Barcode: 0624917241808 Product code: 683847 BIN number: 32261

D-Mannose is a simple carbohydrate sugar similar in structure to glucose. When bladder infections occur, the bacteria E-coli is found in the bladder and urinary tract - where it doesn't belong. Furthermore, this bacteria has adhesion molecules (lectins) which allow it to cling to the lining of the urinary tract, making infections persistent.

AOR D-Mannose overview

D-Mannose is a simple carbohydrate sugar similar in structure to glucose. When bladder infections occur, the bacteria E-coli is found in the bladder and urinary tract - where it doesn't belong. Furthermore, this bacteria has adhesion molecules (lectins) which allow it to cling to the lining of the urinary tract, making infections persistent. Some clinical experience suggests that supplemental D-mannose acts as a molecular "chaff" to which to the bacteria bind instead of to the urinary tract lining.

What is Waterfall D-Mannose?
D-Mannose is a rare sugar that occurs in nature. The molecular structure is C6H12O6. There is often a small amount of it present in fruits like pineapple, and cranberry, and it is chemically combined with other ingredients in many foods like carrageen, and food stabilisers. It is simple, natural,100% safe, even for small children (it really is just a type of sugar), and has some unique characteristics that make it at least ten times more effective than cranberry at dislodging the sticky E.coli bacteria from the kidneys, bladder, and urinary tract.

How does it work?
The cell walls of the E.coli bacterium are covered with minute molecular projections (lectins) that stick like velcro to the bladder and urinary tract, making it very difficult to rinse them away by urination. The molecular structure of Waterfall D-Mannose makes it work like the other half of the velcro. The E.coli is bio-chemically attracted to the D-Mannose in the urine, and it attaches itself to the D-Mannose, allowing itself to be flushed out when you urinate.

The body is unable to metabolise Waterfall D-Mannose , so that it quickly passes through our kidneys, through the entire urinary tract, meanwhile coating any E.coli bacteria present, to enable it to be flushed away with normal urination!

Waterfall D-Mannose works in a similar way to cranberry, to flush out the infection, but it flushes out the infection so thoroughly that, when you first pass water after taking D-Mannose, (having suffered an infection) you will notice that your urine smells very strong. This caused by the E.coli being flushed out of your system, and ending up in your urine instead of being still attached to your urinary tract walls.

Waterfall D-Mannose :

has no side-effects
supports a healthy bladder and urinary tract
is a natural but rare sugar
is between 10 to 50 times more effective than cranberry
does not interfere with friendly bacteria
does not alter blood sugar levels (although diabetics should monitor this)
does not disrupt normal bodily functions
is safe for long-term preventative treatment
is hypo-allergenic, additive free, and does not cause thrush
Does it work for all bladder infections?
Most (over 90%) but not all infections. However, since Waterfall D-Mannose is more effective than any other natural cure for E.coli based UTI's, getting no relief with Waterfall D-Mannose is almost certain proof that the infection you are suffering from is not E.coli, and is one that will not respond to any natural cure. If, within 24 hours of starting to take D-Mannose, you do not experience major relief from the symptoms, you should seriously consider seeking medical help. You may have symptoms caused by something other than an infection, or you may be infected by a less common bug.

Interstitial cystitis sufferers...
Although we are not claiming that Waterfall D-Mannose is as effective at treating interstitial cystitis, which is not infection based, anecdotal evidence is beginning to accumulate to suggest that nevertheless, it brings considerable relief to many with this problematic and upsetting condition. Logically, it is probably because a regular therapeutic measure of Waterfall D-Mannose helps to prevent and remove secondary infections.

Incidentally, if you do have an infection that is not E.coli based, but find that Waterfall D-Mannose is effective in flushing away your infection, please let us know. We are gathering evidence that Waterfall D-Mannose is effective against other than E.coli, and we need to accumulate information. It is too early for us to make any claims in this direction, but the initial evidence is already proving to be exciting. There may even be anti-viral effects.
