2 cups coriander seeds
11 black peppercorns
Half tsp. fennel seed
Half tsp. cumin seeds
2-3 slices fresh ginger
Cinammon sticks

How about an herb and spice infused tea Begin with 2 cups of water in a pot. To that, add 2 teaspoons of coriander seeds, 11 whole black peppercorns, half a teaspoon of fennel seed, half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, 2 or 3 slices of fresh ginger and a cinammon stick, break it in half.

Bring the mix to a rapid boil, uncovered, and reduce it by half it's volume. This will take about eight to 10 minutes. This recipe makes two cups of tea. Strain the reduced blend into half a cup of your favorite tea. The savory tea is now ready to sip, slowly. This brew is even better with a teaspoon of honey stirred in. It's a savory tea to enjoy anytime. I especially like it when i've got a cold or a cough.
