In 1837 the Company received the favour of the monarch. Queen Victoria deemed Twinings a ?Purveyor of Tea in Ordinary to Her Majesty? and so the Company became suppliers of tea to Her Majesty personally. Having held that distinction for every monarch since Queen Victoria, the Company is still honoured with coveted Royal Warrants of Appointment to H.M. The Queen, H.M. The Queen Mother and H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.
Twinings Earl Grey Tea ingredients
Character: This black tea, scented with the oil of Bergamot, gives a most refreshing sensation.
How to use Twinings Earl Grey Tea
How and when to serve: Black or with very little milk, but never lemon which detracts from the Bergamot. Some have it for breakfast, most in the afternoon, and some in the evening. Available in 125g loose tea, 50's and 100's tea bags. Decaffeinated available in 50's tea bags only.
