Kuching Herbal Java tea is grown in Kuching’s farm in the rural district of Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan, Malaysia using only traditional and sustainable farming methods. Kuching Herbal Java Tea is prepared using their own method to ensure the best taste. The leaves are first dried and then milled before being packed into tea-bags. Java tea has been drunk for centuries in South East Asia for its benefit to health and well being. Like green tea, it is shown to contain antioxidants; but unlike green tea it is naturally caffeine free and does not have a bitter after taste. Recent scientific research has also suggested anti-allergy, anti-inflammatory, blood pressure lowering, and diuretic properties.
Kuching use only traditional and sustainable methods of farming. That means no herbicides or pesticides.
Kuching Herbal Tea is produced from the dried leaves of the plant Orthosiphon Stamenius. The main active ingredients are flavinoids, highly oxygenated diterpenes, benzochromenes, caffeic acid derivatives, lithospermic acid derivates and potassium. In studies the dosage used is 6-12g of dried Orthosiphon Stamenius as an infusion (that's about 3-6 teabags).

1) Anti-oxidant effects: Prevent damage to cells by harmful free radicals and believed to be beneficial in the prevention and treatment of a wide range of diseases. A recent study has shown that extract of Orthosiphon stamenius exhibited antioxidant and free radical scavenging activities1. 2) Anti-inflammatory & Anti-allergy effect: Extract of Orthosiphon Stamineus had the ability to reduce fever when given to rats with a high temperature.

4) Blood Sugar Lowering effect: A recent experiment demonstrated that administration of extract of Orthosiphon Stamineus to diabetic and normal rats significantly lowered their blood sugar.
