How does Backlife work?

Backlife recreates a therapist's touch, gently rotating the legs, lifting the pelvis and aligning the spine. 

Is it harmful to use Backlife if you don't have back pain?

Not at all, Backlife can be used daily as part of an overall healthcare maintenance program.  You can also use Backlife when you are feeling stressed and need to take time out to relax.

Can I use Backlife at home?

Yes, Backlife does not require professional supervision.  You can use it at home, in the comfort of the room of your choice.  Before starting a session, place Backlife on the floor. The surface should be hard and flat to prevent it from shifting during a session.  Do no place Backlife on a bed or mattress.

I have a slipped disk - can I use Backlife?

Yes, you can use Backlife for a variety of back conditions, provided you have consulted a qualified back pain specialist beforehand.

What should I feel during a session?

Backlife moves your legs i a gentle, circular movement that works to relieve the source of the pain.  After a few minutes, your muscles will relax and you will begin to feel Backlife working.  It is not a strenuous treatment and you should not feel any discomfort.  Backlife provides a gentle workout that should result in a calm, relaxed feeling of well-being and relief.

How often should I use Backlife?

We recommend two Backlife sessions daily; morning and evening for optimal results.  However, you should plan your Backlife session according to the intensity of your pain during the day.  You might find that one daily session in the morning might be sufficient to keep you free of back pain throughout the day.  Or you might prefer to use Backlife as a relaxing treatment before going to sleep.

For  severe pain, you can use Backlife a number of times during the day,  provided you wait at least one hour between sessions.

How long does a Backlife session last?

A Backlife session lasts 12 minutes.  After 12 minutes, Backlife automatically switches off.
